You can format the date and time using format types from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/intl/day--month--year--and-era-format-pictures and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/datetimeapi/nf-datetimeapi-gettimeformatex.

Additional you can use iii to insert the milliseconds.

Additional you can use ani to insert an animation character for each line.

Tag for each serial port

You can set a tag for each serial port. This tag is shown in the title bar of Trion. So you can easier distinguish between different Trion windows / ports without remembering the number.

To set the tag, press Shift or Ctrl and click onto a serial port.
