All software on this website does what the description says. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no virus, crapware, malware or any other stuff in there. There is no (private) (hidden) data collection anywhere.
You are free to use a disassembler or network monitor to verify this.
The crash reporting and auto-update functions are sending a somehow unique id, so I can distinguish between different users and see how many people are using my software. This id does not contain any personal information. The only decodable information is your operating system version. It’s not possible to trace you back, I’m sorry, you are just a number… Your IP-address gets recorded, just to distinguish between different users and see the country of my software usage.
You can always prevent the crash report and disable the automatic update check.
